Tour Feedback

‘Everyone had a great time and you made our day most informative and interesting. I think that it speaks volumes when some of our members who find walking quite difficult, managed to stay the course and were still smiling at the end of it! On behalf of SHADARA once again many thanks.’

'Would like to say how much I enjoyed my organised bus trip to Greenwich. We were met off the bus by two guides - splitting us into two groups. Our tour included Greenwich Park and the Royal Observatory which I found very interesting. The Guide seemed very knowledgeable and clearly explained the functions of the Observatory.'
M. Morgan, Dorset.

'The visit to Greenwich with a Guided Tour was very informative. We were taken into the Royal Naval College Chapel, also the Painted Halll. A walk up the hill to the Observatory with the wonderful view of the Thames with London in the distance ended our outing.'
Jennifer Pougher

'Greenwich! What a venue for a visit by our Guild, this fascinating, historical site surrounded by wonderful architecture, in a stunning setting - there was so much to see. The Queen's House, the Old Naval College and in town the Church of St Alfege. Then it was up to the Royal Observatory, where it was a 'must' to stand astride the Meridian Line. The view from here of London beyond the Thames was breath-taking. Throughout we were accompanied by our Guide whose extensive knowledge made our visit so enjoyable and memorable.'
Ruth Elphick Chairman, Verwood Townswomen's Guild.

I’d like to thank you for a wonderful tour. I enjoyed it, and am sure that everyone else did too.'
David Gindis, Local Organiser of the Inaugural Conference of the World Interdisciplinary Network for Institutional Research (WINIR)
